FC Dallas look to snap a four-match winless streak when they host a Minnesota United squad unbeaten in their last three Sunday night at Toyota Stadium.

FC Dallas (5W-4L-6D) are coming off a 2-0 defeat to rival Houston in the latest chapter of the Texas Derby Wednesday, while Minnesota United (6W-5L-5D) shared the points with Nashville SC following a 0-0 draw.

This is the third meeting this season with the sides splitting the previous two games. FC Dallas claimed a 3-1 victory August 29 with Fafa Picault and Jesus Ferreira scoring one minutes apart early in the first half. The Loons earned revenge with a 3-2 triumph at Allianz Field Sept. 9 with Kevin Molino scoring a brace.

FC Dallas couldn't take advantage of a man advantage for the final 45 minutes and suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Dynamo at BBVA Stadium. Darwin Quintero opened the scoring in the 20th minute and, after Mauro Manotas was sent off for a dangerous tackle, Darwin Ceren buried a penalty kick seven minutes from time to secure Houston's win.

"It's a weird sensation when you feel your team is going in the right direction in football integrity, in how we're trying to work and improve, in controlling the game, in attacking, pressing, having higher possession, more possession and creating more," Luchi Gonzalez said after the game. "But again the stats don't always tell the final story and we lose 2-0 when we, even before the red card, we were really showing things I thought would lead us to the first goal. it's disappointing we couldn't put it all together."

Dayne St. Clair kept his third consecutive clean sheet, denying a close-range effort from Alex Muyl in the 26th minute and an even more impressive stop a few minutes later when diving at full stretch to turn behind a Randall Leal drive that looked destined for the bottom corner of the net.

"Our goalkeeper came up with a great save in the first half, and I don't use that word lightly," Minnesota head coach Adrian Heath said in his post-match press conference. "It's an unbelievable save. Only somebody of his size and length would get to it. It's been another great night for the kid."
